A recent week means fresh freebies via the Poem Games Entrepot, and this time around you can snag non one, but cardinal very good (and very different) games: Alien: Isolation and Hand of Fate 2. Both will remain at large until they're replaced by until no other game show next Thursday.

I haven't played Hand of Fate 2 yet but it formal reviewers loved it when information technology launched in belated 2018, and it presently holds a "very positive" gross rating across finished 4,000 drug user reviews on Valve's rival Steam store (where it is $30 and rattling so much not free). IT's a game that doesn't fit neatly into any of the usual musical style conventions. Hand of Fate 2 revolves round building a carte du jour deck to complete challenges inclined to you by the occult dealer, merely it also weaves in third-person brawling, dungeon-crawling, literal dice rolls, roguelike elements, and Companion cards that fatten out a bigger narrative.
